The Product Development team as part of the Prime Brokerage business is responsible for the development and evolution of the Prime Brokerage Platform, working closely with our partners across the Business, Risk, Legal & Compliance, Operations and Technology to implement product change to meet the requirements of the business, our clients and the ever changing regulatory environment.
Product Development is a critical function within this rapidly evolving business, as a central point of coordination across the business in the delivery of product enhancements and new product rollouts, in response to new revenue opportunities, cost and risk mitigation initiatives and regulatory imperatives. The global function has representation in New York, London, and Hong Kong.
The opportunity is to join and manage the Equity Financing Product Development team in APAC. The role will entail working directly with our regional and global business partners and hedge fund clients to deliver commercial and robust solutions to support margin financing and market access by means of equity derivatives and securitized derivative products, cash financing and prime brokerage in response to new revenue opportunities, cost and risk mitigation initiatives and regulatory imperatives.
Partnerships in this role include the Client Service, Transition, Legal and Compliance, Sales, Trading, Risk, Product and financial control, Middle and back office functions, Technology teams and other Equity wide teams.
It is essential that the candidate brings both demonstrable knowledge of Equity Finance marketplace and clients, and insight into the manner in which the regulatory environment may impact the product's on-going evolution. Experience in other financing or access products (P-Notes, LEPOs, structured notes, structured OTC derivatives, cleared derivatives, etc) is desirable.

5 + years of experience in a leadership role in Prime Finance, On-boarding Clients, or Product Development
The role requires ability to communicate ideas well, and the ability to deal confidently with people at all levels of the organization
Previous product development or product management experience building toolsets for users
Strong Project Management Skills, must be organized and able to deconstruct a project into achievable deliverables
Excellent Visio, PowerPoint and Excel knowledge
Ability to manage direct and virtual teams effectively
Ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple streams of work simultaneously and effectively resolve issues and conflicts to ensure timely delivery
Ability to drive an agenda and consensus across multi-functional and cross-regional teams
