Job Description:
The Branch Workforce Planning team is a part of Consumer and Community Banking Operations, responsible for branch staffing and scheduling to ensure CCB Operation’s business objectives are met.  The primary responsibilities of this team include volume / demand forecasting, capacity planning, resource scheduling, business analysis/support, and executive reporting.  
This role will work closely with the Regional Planning Leads within the Branch Workforce Planning team to drive improved hiring, scheduling execution and service level performance across Chase’s 22 regions and ~5,200 branches by providing communication and analytical support.
We are looking for a leader with an attention to detail and demonstrated experience in ad hoc analysis, reporting execution, managing processes, effective oral and written communication, and support of cross-functional stakeholders.   In addition, the candidate has the ability to effectively partner with representatives across various groups to deliver accurate and insightful deliverables providing clarity to the field.
Specific Responsibilities Include
  • Reporting & Analytical Support:  Develop business processes, reporting, and analytical tools to equip Regional Planning Leads in adding maximum value to their field based business partners
  • Process Improvement:  Leverage insights from the field to drive upstream process and planning improvements to better serve leadership at the regional and national-level
  • Field Scheduling Support:  Coordinate with the field to remediate staffing and scheduling discrepancies
  • Execution Consistency:  Create field materials and communications to highlight workforce planning status and opportunities
  • Issue Resolution:  Own key issues, follow ups and action items to ensure they are effectively tracked and managed to resolution


Preferred Qualifications
  • Strategic Agility:  Ability to deliver on tactical day-to-day challenges while continuing to ensure the overall program is managed effectively.
  • Influence and Change Management:  Strong influencing and change management skills.  The successful candidate will need to affect change in processes and behaviors by clients, technology, and across partner groups.
  • Attention to Detail:  Must have a high degree of attention to detail, specifically in ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Analytical Rigor:  Ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with strong data analysis skills; synthesizing information across multiple platforms, systems, and organizations.
  • Presentation / Communications:  Ideal candidate would be able to develop and deliver concise presentations that clearly articulate challenges, actions, and results for complex matters - creating clarity and a bias for action with key stakeholders.
  • Branch/Retail Expertise:  Well-versed in Consumer branch, Community, and/or retail environment to take into consideration in managing the workforce planning process.     


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/ training
  • 5-10 years experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
