Description
 
As a Corporate Actions Associate, the primary focus will be:
  • Processing for multiple voluntary corporate actions supporting Investment bank and Global Custody client line of business.
  • Ensure market announcements are accurately processed and meets all required deadline.
  • Ensure adherence of existing operation controls and service commitments.
  • Provide supports to strategic business program on requirement write up, UAT & Model office testing, and system implementation.
  • Lead project initiation on process improvement, automation and risk mitigation control on day to day management.   

 

Qualifications
  • Preferred of 5-8 years of industry experience, with proven solid experience in day-to-day interaction within Custody.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate actions and custody and clearing operations and able to provide oversight and support on daily workflow management.
  • Drive various process enhancement and digital tools initiatives globally and regionally Engage with middle office, settlement, technology and global counterparts to proactively manage the risk of high profile corporate action events.
  • In depth knowledge of Asset Servicing and team leading experience
  • Strong proclivity to ensure operating controls are effective and errors are minimized
  • Preferred experience in dealing with audit, compliance and operation controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g. HKMA, CASS)
  • Strong communication skills, articulate key risk and challenge of daily processing to management
  • Flexible and comfortable to deal with pressure and fast pace environment
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills coupled with independent and reliable decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate ongoing level of excellence in communication, team building, and quality delivery
