Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business (LOB) to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution, and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.

Global Service Operations (GSO) is responsible for service support and delivery for JPMorgan Chase's (JPMC) Global Technology Infrastructure. Through its Global Service Desk and Infrastructure Operations Centers, GSO provides global, coordinated diagnostic and support services, while its Production Assurance and Support functions leverage and execute industry-leading infrastructure management and support processes that are designed to minimize customer outages and impacts.
The GSO MQ Operate team is responsible for the global operations of JPMC’s MQSeries platform.  This platform is a critical component to the firms various banking applications.
The Infrastructure Operations Manager will work as part of a global team responsible for the operation of JPMC's MQSeries hosted environments.


  • Manage a small regional team operating within a larger global team
  • Identify and drive operational service improvements
  • Maintain staffing levels and team skillsets to meet ongoing needs
  • Coordinate communication and resolution of incident management process
  • Adoption and implementation of ITIL processes
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Ensure global adherence and adoption of best practices
  • Help support and drive DevOps strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and/or driving change across an organization
  • Excellent organization and team building skills
  • Experience managing a complex operational environment
  • Excellent problem & customer management skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in:
    • Unix/ Windows System Administration
    • Network Products & Protocols (TCP/IP)
    • Development skills a plus ( Python, Java, Perl )
