Consumer and Small Business offers a broad array of credit cards to meet the needs of individual consumers and small businesses. Our portfolio includes Chase-branded credit cards - Sapphire, Freedom, Ink and Slate as well as co-branded credit cards offered in partnership with well-known brands and organizations, including AARP, Amazon, Disney, Marriott, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and many others in the United States and Canada.

 

The portfolio Strategy Marketing manager will be responsible for leading key strategic initiatives that will drive short and long term growth and improve customer satisfaction.  Key areas of responsibilities include:
 
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to devise and execute embedded/emerging payments strategy to drive maximum wallet share at the best possible economics. Areas of focus will include mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Chase Pay) merchant wallets (Pay Pal, Amazon, Walmart, etc.) recurring Bill Pay (Netflix, phone, utilities, etc.). Scope will also include strategy to maximize impact of contactless cards and how best to deal with new entrants.
     
  • Serve as primary point of contact for featured 5% Quarterly merchants following execution of contract.   Responsibilities will include, developing marketing strategy to optimize relationship, ensure contractually required reporting is delivered and overseeing invoicing.
     
  • Develop and lead strategy for Freedom Merchant Funded offers including:  Identifying desirable merchants and offers, developing creative and securing necessary approvals to execute offers, reporting results, etc.
     
  • Serve as Freedom point-of-contact (including creative/offer/targeting approval) for all cross-LOB deepening activity including Chase Pay, Starbucks, Retail, Mortgage, and Auto.  Also serve as the primary Freedom point of contact for all activity related to Finn or Digital account opening.   
     
  • Lead effort to improve customer satisfaction (measured through JD Power score & NPS) though more effective communications and benefits reinforcement. Identify and remove any obstacles to effectively delivering key messages.
     
  • Work closely with internal partners to leverage and influence marketing roadmap to enable more trigger based actions, delivering personalization and email relevance.  Initial focus will include personalized QCEP summaries celebrating earn and highlighting additional opportunities.
     
  • Manage plan and work with internal and external stakeholders to update all existing customer creative to reflect new creative platform and learning from Persado testing (i.e. machine learning) 
     
  • Work closely with North Star and Lending COE to drive increased blend behaviors on Freedom

 

 

 
 6-8 years marketing/campaign management experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong project management skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to lead and function effectively in a matrix organization
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced, fluid environment with tight deadlines
- Good sense of humor, positive attitude and ability to be flexible.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and leadership potential
