Job Description:
 
  • Work according to established operating procedures to minimize enquiries from client and escalate any issues to the Team Leader as soon as possible
  • Attend to all over the counter and telephone enquiries in a friendly and timely manner
  • Where applicable, ensure Statement and Advices printing is printed on time, records logged and mailed out according to schedule. Reconcile number of envelopes against the supplied spreadsheet before mailing
  • Print, copy and finish documents as requested (that is binding, punching, guillotining, laminating, etc)
  • Ensure all print jobs are completed accurately within the agreed turnaround time (negotiate deadlines if required)
  • Ensure adequate materials are on hand for print and mail requests
  • Liaise with maintenance technicians to ensure maximum uptime on all equipment
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Comply with OH&S procedures
  • Other, as instructed by the Team Leader

  • Some amount of heavy lifting will be involved in the job

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a print room.
  • Computer literate. Intermediate users of the following programs:
  • Microsoft Outlook(emailing, filing, meetingrequests)
    Microsoft Word (basic editingand formatting, mail merge)
    Microsoft Excel (abilityto enter and manipulate data, set up for print)
    Microsoft PowerPoint (basic editing and formatting)
    Adobe Acrobat(including ability to manipulate files for print)
  • Experience using a variety of print production and finishing equipment including:
    Multi-function devices/printers
    Binding equipment, including punchers and closers
    Guillotines
    Laminators
