Job Description:
As a Senior Associate you will be responsible for delivering on monthly MIS reporting and analysis as a part of the Corporate and Investment Bank CFO Support group – specifically Markets CFO group. This includes:
  • Design, develop and support various monthly / quarterly reporting around Global EMRs (Executive Management Report), Business Review packs, materials for Regulatory reporting etc
  • Extraction and mining of data from the source MIS systems
  • Ability to analyze the information to be able to present analysis to business
  • Ability to understand the changing business needs, redesign MIS and analysis around the same
  • Ability to handle a very dynamic work environment
  • Support ad hoc requests from the business and senior management
  • Support quarterly business meetings and any analysis required by senior management
  • Proactive involvement in the business and development of infrastructure required to support reporting and analysis
  • Analyze, communicate and deliver on high quality MIS in stringent timelines
  • Liaison with the LOB teams and other support groups
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Should be able to work independently & own end to end responsibilities without much supervision
  • He should be able to lead projects across Markets businesses liasioning with multiple stakeholders
  • He should be hands on with different technological tools to drive efficiency
  • CA / MBA with 7-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Focus on service delivery / client satisfaction
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to consolidate and analyze data received from multiple clients
  • Good analytical skills, eye for numbers
  • Ability to interrogate and interpret financial reports
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Strong command of report writing
  • Good Excel skills (i.e. data manipulation, macros, vlookups, array formulas, pivot tables) and MS PowerPoint.  Knowledge of Advanced Excel would be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial management, particularly in gathering/reporting on actuals, forecasts and expenses preferred
  • Experience with benchmarking particularly activity based costing analyses preferred
  • Primarily EMEA shifts, may have to work on a few critical business days of the month in New York shifts.
