CCB Risk

Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others


The Risk Associate is responsible for managing execution of the following strategies:  High Risk Account Management (HRAM), Natural Reissue, Inactive Closure, and Credit Line Exchange.

The Risk Associate will coordinate and provide oversight for all the above mentioned strategies.  This includes partnering with the strategy owners, updating required documentation, coordinating release activities with Risk Execution, conducting pre and post implementation validations and ensuring Operational partners are prepared for implemented changes.


You will also ensure appropriate oversight and control of strategies and processes owned leading to a satisfactory pass rate for all transactional and RCSA testing efforts .You will provide timely and accurate information required for various exams and audits including internal, OCC, CFPB, and others.


You will ensure control documentation for activities associated with HRAM, Natural Reissue, Inactive Closure, and Credit Line Exchange.  Ensure transactional testing and RCSA related items is comprehensive, well organized and stored for evidence purposes. You will work with management and process/strategy owners to deliver results and ensure we are operating in a controlled environment.

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related control, risk, audit, testing and process documentation; Lending experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, orientation to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments and functions.  Ability to work independently. Ability to influence others.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ability to achieve tight timelines on deliverables.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred.
