VP, EMEA Legal Financial Analysis and Reporting
Reporting to the EMEA Finance Manager for Legal, this role is responsible for timely analysis of the financial performance of the function.  This includes and is not limited to financial & headcount reporting, P&L variance commentary.
  • Manage the overall operating expenses for EMEA Legal, working closely with the Regional Business Management as well as Head of Legal in the various EMEA jurisdictions and their teams;
  • Compiling and assisting in mid-year forecast & budget activity with detailed analysis on various performance metrics for senior management
  • Provide consolidated EMEA Legal reporting for both Internal and External spend to the business leaders that includes useful and relevant insights into business activities;
  • Develop and present analytical reporting that provides Regional Senior Management insight into drivers of Internal and External spend  and make recommendations for expense improvements;
  • Collaborate with business-aligned P&A contacts to drive accurate expense forecasting and provide meaningful commentary
  • Drive expense management programs and goals including influencing Regional Senior Management to achieve those goals;
  • Provide strategic financial advice and guidance;
  • Lead and/or assist with projects related to expense and Legal Finance technology initiatives across Legal;
•Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
•Strong analytical and financial skills with a track record of execution against deliverables
•Creative self starter with strong initiative, strong problem solving skills and the ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team          
•Proven Client/Relationship management experience; strong interpersonal and influencing skills
•Structured mindset with Process/Continuous improvement orientation
•Ability to multi-task and be hands on in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure
•Experience with internal financial systems preferred (Essbase, GXM, SAP, Business Object reporting, etc.)
•Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
