 Position Overview

As a member of the Small Business Analytics team the senior campaign analyst will be responsible for supporting the BB Marketing campaign lifecycle with targeting, sizing, business case support, modeling support, list execution support, reporting, test design building and reading, financial assessments, forecasting and overall campaign analysis (focusing on acquisition volume and quality). This position will work directly with our clients in setting up the expectations for their requests, scheduling and delivering them appropriately.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own end to end the assigned analytics requests
  • Carry out complete BB campaign analysis or Test Design related tasks with little or no direction.
  • Present the results to our clients in a straightforward and meaningful way
  • Partner with the modeling and list execution teams as needed
  • Coach our junior team members in campaign analysis methods and approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with our clients. 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of advanced skills in SQL and experience either in SAS or in Python and R (advanced SAS, Python or R desired).
  • Able to extract data from data warehouses (knowledge of ICDW and MAP databases a big plus).
  • Exposure to Big Data environment and tools (Experience with Big Data tools like Apache Pig, Apache Hive a big plus)
  • Background in Statistics (Test Design building, Sampling, Descriptive desired)
  • Excellent analysis skills, attention to detail and problem solving mindset
  • Experienced in building presentations (Pitch Pro experience desired) and comfortable speaking with all levels of management.
  • Passionate for building and communicating the ‘story’ (what went right, what went wrong, what can be improved?) around marketing campaigns and related initiatives.
  • Experienced in planning, scheduling and performing analytics research and reporting aiming to provide relevant feedback, guidance and recommendations to our clients (responsiveness to Ad Hoc and derived requests/questions is expected).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
