Position Summary


The Communications Senior Associate is responsible for developing and executing a client engagement strategy for the Chief Information Officers of Chase Technology. The role will require partnering with stakeholders in communications and technology across the firm to develop a strong communications strategy that supports the clients’ business objectives.   


Major Functions/Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a communications strategy that is aligned to CCB Technology’s key priorities and objectives
  • Create executive messages, talking points, presentations, etc., for internal and external audiences in the proper voice and tone reflecting the CCB CIO’s personal style
  • Develop and direct internal communication initiatives—including town halls, site visits, leader and manager communications, employee messages, newsletters, videos, intranet, and all other internal-facing communications
  • Work closely with the Head of CCB Tech Communications and others on the team to deliver a consistent brand and messaging strategy through high-impact, innovative and engaging programs, channels and initiatives
  • Provide counsel and communications thought leadership to CCB CIO client
  • Encourage a two-way communication culture by engaging employees in direct dialogue and mobilizing managers with message tool kits and templates to ensure an effective communication flow through the organization
  • Analyze metrics and employee feedback on an ongoing basis, taking action where appropriate to drive usage and enhance content and channel effectiveness
  • Evaluate practices by other lines of business and adopt best practices

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a communications or marketing role
  • Consultative approach with the ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Versatility in executing various writing styles, voices and tones to convey the executives’ individual style and personality
  • Must understand the complexity of speaking to multiple audiences with differing interests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications plans
  • Organized project manager and multi-tasker, comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.  Proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines  
  • Consultative approach with the ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • High degree of professionalism and flexibility.  Must be able to demonstrate speed and adaptability, especially with writing and editing on the fly. Must be able to get up to speed quickly on the business and its priorities
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and look for ways to continually improve
  • Experience with Sharepoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Strong time management and project management skills; must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Graphic design and/or video experience is a plus and highly desired
  • BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree is preferred
