In January of 2018, we announced that we plan to expand our branch network into 15-20 new U.S. markets and open up to 400 new branches during the next 5 years.  These new branches will directly employ about 3,000 people in places such as Washington D.C., Boston, Philadelphia and many others.  The Consumer Bank and Wealth Management Program Manager II will support a cross functional team responsible for planning and executing our entry into the new markets.   You will execute projects of varying sizes and work with teams to implement initiatives that assure seamless execution.  You will own programs and projects through their lifecycle, ensure strong controls & communications, take into account the impact of expenses, and keep us focused on the things that matter most.  You will work with colleagues at all levels across Consumer Banking and One Chase to reach our collective market expansion goals and manage and track reporting for senior leadership.  This role requires flexibility, strong attention to detail, team building, and an ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis.



  • Reports to the Head of Market Expansion for CB-CWM and functions as an independent contributor helping to execute strategy and developmental goals as it pertains to our market expansion efforts
  • Actively coordinating resources for large, complex, and highly visible market expansion projects that have significant financial and reputational risk to the firm
  • Using policies and established practices to make program management decisions that will expand our branch network into new markets
  • Reviewing root cause analysis and recommending value-added business solutions
  • Managing multiple small/medium projects with possible cross-organizational and cross-business deliverables
  • Executing and meeting commitments with a sense of urgency
  • Leading programs and projects through their lifecycle- from ideation to execution


    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus Consumer Banking business process knowledge or interest
    • Project management skills, and the ability to rapidly respond to change
    • Professional presentation skills and experience building Power Point presentations
    • Keen attention to detail and the ability to use Office Suite
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other areas of a fast paced, complex environment
    • Proven ability to support the strategic direction for a department/initiative, and escalate issues quickly
