Position Summary:

  • Serverside developer to build and deliver solutions to external/internal users supporting business capabilities around the trade lifecycle. Will be engaged with various stakeholders ( across business, UX, product, tech, operations, etc). 
  • Will be involved in various technologies stacks including API, cloud, dev ops, big data, microservices, etc.
  • Design, analyze, develop, test, debug and document in solving business problems for one or more business areas
  • Translate, load and present disparate data sets in multiple formats/sources including JSON, Avro, Kafka queues etc
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into detail design
  • Application performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Participate in analysis of data stores and help with data analytics
  • Ensure solutions developed adhere to security and data entitlements

Essential  - Exposure & working experience on the following skillset
  • Ability to participate in technical conversations with various technical support groups.
  • Ability to engage in technical conversations with various technical support groups-
  • Handling complete production deployment and Release Management
  • Problem solving & analytical skills
  • Exposure to troubleshooting issue for Java based application
  • Level 3 support process automation and efficiencies
  • Experience of delivering within a multiple service support/development team, in a complex business environment
  • Experience in supporting mission critical applications in an operational and support environment
  • Experience of working in a global organization.
  • ITIL processes and terminology consistent with having attended an ITIL Foundation level course.
  • Knowledge of Unix commands .
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL .
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting microservice(s) based REST APIs.
  • Monitor overall production systems performance and raise alarms/escalations
  • Handling severity 1 incidents independently providing the work around and RCA at the earliest
  • Proficiency at various levels of on Production Support from Defect fixing, requirement analysis, Release Management, systems analysis and documentation
  • Analyze and come up with quickest possible solution for Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents
  • Exposure to Agile Process
