Job Description:
Catalyst is a new and transformational business organization aimed at streamlining our sales processes and driving innovative technology solutions to empower Commercial Bankers. The newly created Program Management Office will be responsible for leading the execution of projects in support of this transformational agenda.
 
Catalyst is seeking a highly motivatedindividual who is able to handlea high level of complexity and self-direct to support varied aspects of our execution strategy to build a solid foundation of ownership, structure, and governance across business and engagement domains.
 
As a Business Transformation Project Manager, you are responsible for building/executing for business integration projectsand change initiatives using proven project methodologies and tools.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads through the executionof multiple projects that involvecomplex business functions using proven project management methodologies and tools
  • Leads work for multiple cross-organizational/LOB or cross-business unit projects to deliver significant business results/deliverables
  • Recommend and prioritize strategic and tactical work to deliverongoing improvements
  • Utilize a practical approach to the application of methodssuch as Six Sigma/ Lean/ Agile
  • Manages and directs project activities and monitors progress, including projecthealth, capacityplanning, and internalprocess improvement activity
  • Communicates effectively with senior management via multiplechannels
  • Resolves conflict throughexpert collaboration and broad decision-making
  • Manages budget for assigned projects or program, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
  • Builds cohesive,winning teams through strong communication and involvement of all team members
  • Able to manage influenceandmotivation upwardand downward
  • Understands interdependenciesbetween multiple variables and must consider tradeoffsand impact of decisions
  • Anticipates andresolves both customer and general issues with a sense of urgency
  • Contributes to setting the direction for thedepartment
  • Mobilizes resources acrossboundaries to solve issues in a productive manner
  • Pursues cross functionalopportunities to improve customer experience or meet customer needs
  • Demonstrates superiorjudgment to mitigaterisk that couldimpact the firm’sreputation
  • Fosters an environment where risk/control issues are escalated, and trends are anticipated andidentified
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of relevant Business Management experience (Project or Program execution, Business Transformation Strategy and Execution, Professional Services Consulting)
  • Distinctive problem solving skills, such as experience with a top management consulting firm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills (conceptuals, data, etc.) with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience but especially to senior audiences
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to oversee schedules and processes for multiple teams, identify and remove roadblocks and work toward continuous improvement
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented and very attentive to detail
  • Ability to influence across business lines, cultures, and functions
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
