The Global Technology Infrastructure Project Management Group provide clients with qualified project managers that will lead GTI projects and project management services using Standard Project Management execution practices, tools and templates,
 
 
As an Infrastructure Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing complex Investment Projects which includes end user, mainframe and distributed technologies.
This is a senior role involved in the different stages of the success of a project including: the funding, planning, scheduling, implementation and tracking process.
 
This Project Management role is focused primarily managing large projects based on multiple technologies.  The project manager will also be required to manage complex engineering projects based on evolving technologies. 
The project manager will coordinate and monitor the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of engineering projects. Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules, develop solutions to project problems. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Act as advisor to project manager team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
  • Responsible for running complex and projects.
  • Ensure projects delivered on time, on budget, on spec.
  • Manage project financials
  • Keep all projects in program on track -Escalates decisions to executive sponsors as necessary.
  • Designing and developing the project
  • Develop risk management strategies
  • Plan and set project goals and milestones
  • Clearly define requirements and make targets accordingly
  • Define resources and the schedule for the implementation of the project
  • Detect and solve project issues effectively
  • Supervise the project management team
  • Recognize areas for internal improvement and developing plans for implementing them.
  • He/she must make sure all the measures comply with company standards and procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Acts as the communications conduit to executive sponsor; conducts periodic briefings/status updates.
  • Serve as single point of contact for project level issues / questions
  • Prepares complex technical reports
Work Experience
  • Substantial IT Project Management experience, or relevant business or team leadership.
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries.
  • Strong knowledge of all systems used by the JPMChase PM community to fund, manage and engage resources  for the execution of the project. (WRM, Clarity,B2P, Business Case Tool, Datamart, Beeline, SPARC, PRIME
  • Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.
  • Knowledge of Permit to Build and Permit to Operate.
  • Proven experience keeping projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to present metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with Outside Service Providers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing - across functions and teams, up and down the chain of command.
  • Listening and gathering customer/user inputs, simplifying complex topics for non-technical audiences and preparing quick pointed summaries for executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the JPMC community.

  • Extensive Vendor management experience, negotiation, finance etc.
  • Experienced Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager that can take our product development teams to the next level in adoption of Agile, Scrum and Kanban practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile industry standard best practices to provide high touch and hands on team guidance in an agile framework. 
  • Responsible for understanding line of business technology drivers and their impact on architectural design performance and monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology related area preferred OR
  • PMP, Prince 2 or Six Sigma - technology experience, a significant amount of which has been at the senior staff level, working with multiple technologies and complex, large scale, cross-functional project management, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Scrum Master, Advanced Agile Certification, PMI ACP or Scrum Alliance Certification
  • Understanding of large scale C, C++, perl, python, java and C#.net preferred
  • Strong technical capability
  • Experience in infrastructure projects e.g. Wide Area Networking, Networking, Storage SAN, NAS, Server deployments, Data Centres, virtualization.
