Job Description:
Commercial Card is rapidly growing and the Marketing and Communications team plays a critical role in driving that growth. The Commercial Card Marketing and Communications team delivers best-in-class solutions that brings the Commercial Card story to life through our client’s eyes and drives business and client growth in innovative, compelling ways. The Marketing Associate will support the Commercial Card marketing team on managing and executing marketing campaigns to acquire new customers and/or increase engagement and awareness from existing customers. 
 
Responsibilities of the Marketing Associate may include, but are not limited to:
  • Campaign Planning and Optimization:
    • Support the development of an integrated, multi-channel marketing plan designed to drive sales growth
    • Responsible for reporting and tracking of marketing programs with the ability to incorporate learning, communicate insights and generate innovative ideas and solutions
    • Create strategic recommendations and implement performance benchmarks, audience targeting/segmentation criteria, and campaign approach best practices for Commercial Card
  • Execution/Project Management:
    • Day-to-day management of marketing campaigns in traditional and digital (social, mobile, email, direct mail, SEO, etc.) channels, including business case, creative development, internal approvals and campaign performance
    • Collaborate with Commercial Card, Card Services, LOB and functional partners to deliver the integrated marketing plan
    • Communicate ongoing campaign updates to team and partners at various levels
    • Manage marketing campaign calendar and budget
The Marketing Associate will also have exposure to counterparts across the firm (Business Banking, Commercial Banking and Corporate Investment Banking) and the broader Card Services organization (Communications, PR/media, Research, Creative Resources).

  • Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years of relevant marketing experience:
    • Developing and executing marketing campaigns
    • Digital (social, SEO, display, email, etc.) tactics
    • Marketing and reporting tools such as Salesforce.com and Marketo a plus
    • B2B, financial services or credit card/payments experience a plus
  • Excellent relationship management skills with a strong ability to influence others with experience managing partner or vendor relationships a plus
  • Proven and outstanding end-to-end project management with sharp attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical thinker with ability to interpret results and drive change
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively work across a matrix organization and influence outcomes
  • Able to gather, interpret and incorporate feedback from a large group of stakeholders
  • Strong control mindset and understanding of internal processes, procedures and systems linked to campaign execution
  • Have a customer obsessed mindset to ensure exceptional customer experience and delivery
  • High degree of professionalism and flexibility – equally comfortable working independently and as a team member
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite: Excel (e.g. data manipulation and analysis, formulas etc.), Word (formatting newsletter, events documents and invites, surveys etc.) and PowerPoint (creating and editing presentations)
