Job Spec
  • Contribute to requirements analysis
  • Work with multiple technology and business teams to develop Logical Data Models
  • Develop Physical Data Models   for various types of physical representations (relational, star, XML, etc.), 
  • Assist in database design, programming and tuning.
  • Support development and/or production of large scale, complex environments, develop and manages execution of DB implementation/upgrade.
  • Design and implement data mapping processes
  • Data Analysis and data profiling
  • Metadata maintenance
  • Maintains strong data governance discipline. Follows and contributes to database standards, policies and procedures
  • Strong ability to perform data modeling for complex business applications
  • Ability to identify patterns, concepts, abstractions
  • Expert Hands-on experience with data modeling tools -  ERWIN a must
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and strategic thinker
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across business, technology and operations as well as across regions and lines of business
  • Knowledge of database technologies (Relational, Data Warehouse, NoSQL Big Data)
  • Knowledge of ETL technologies a must
  • Knowledge of data profiling tools as plus
  • Knowledge of metadata management tools a plus
  • Knowledge of contact center technology a plus
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7 years minimum in technology preferably with a financial services firm
