Job Description:
Join J.P. Morgan's greenfield Cloud development team building products that will accelerate our journey to Public Cloud. Our team is responsible for making Public Cloud services available within the bank, leveraging native services from multiple cloud service providers to deploy scalable, secure and resilient products.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Serve as a point of contact for the vendors supporting the Public Cloud program.
  • Relationship Owner for vendors to ensure their understanding of JPMC process and expectations.
  • Serve in the Delivery Manager capacity for vendors to ensure consistent execution
  • Liaison between Cloud Services organization and various LOB’s, Finance, TPRM, TCO, Cyber, Legal, Sourcing and Cloud pipeline to understand demand and manage response.
  • Partner in contract negotiations with Cloud Services SME’s (including Sourcing, Legal, and Security).
  • Manage onboarding, vendor performance management and ongoing due diligence (control assessments, Action Plans, Risk Acceptance) activities.
  • Develop, maintain and oversee Cloud program milestones and project plans.
  • Support ongoing communications / workshop establishment with cloud providers.
  • Escalate issues/challenges faced by cloud services stakeholders internally and with the vendors (as necessary).
  • Lead regional compliance discussions with local (APAC, EMEA, LATAM) compliance and TCO SMEs related to public cloud enablement.
  • Support Cloud Services TCO in responding to regulatory, internal and external audit requests relevant to vendor services.
Skills & Experience:
  • Deep understanding of JPMC Third Party Oversight (TPO) process.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Vendor Management, Sourcing or Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Control or Audit activities within a Financial services organization.
  • 10+ years of experience in Technology controls.
  • 5+ years of leading interaction with US and regional banking regulators.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of risk management practices and methodologies, including risk assessment, experience with Compliance, Operational, and IT Risk across one or more business units.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record in building good working relationships across global organizations and influencing change.
  • Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with senior management peers.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, garner respect and appropriately exercise authority in a collaborative cross-cultural environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience of working in a matrix management model, utilizing virtual teams.
Experience with leading assessments for cloud service provider preferred
