Position Summary - Responsibilities:


JPM has been the market leading provider of Treasury services for over 30 years and has been instrumental in the innovation & growth of new products that deliver value to our clients with strong returns to the firm. The Disbursements Product Manager Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of seasoned product managers responsible for product development, maintenance, and delivery. Additionally, this individual will establish the product pricing structure, ensure the integration of systems and operations that interface with product strategy and unit cost and develop and analyze sales and marketing programs.  

 

JPMorgan is a market leading provider of Disbursements payment services. The Disbursements Product Management group is responsible for the Paper Check Disbursements Business, Fraud Protection Services, Check Print Outsourcing and the Trusted Advisor Analytics Program. This team’s focus is on providing world class Treasury solutions for Large Corporate and Commercial Bank clients' treasury operation needs.

 
Requirements:
 

Key responsibilities of this position are to deliver product capabilities to the marketplace to meet/exceed customer expectations and to generate incremental net income from new and existing clients.   As a product manager, the individual will be accountable for leading a cross-functional team and all end-to-end activities of the product management and development process, including product strategy, business model/P&L management, customer experience, new product development/product roadmap, sales strategy, internal partner relationships, competitive landscape and marketing.  The individual will work closely with key Product Managers, Project Management Office, Sales/Relationship Management, Operations, Technology, Service and Implementations across the bank.



Skills & Experience

  • Typically requires 10+ years with extensive experience with deep knowledge and understanding of all business disciplines (sales, marketing, product, finance, operations, etc.)

  • Subject matter expertise in Payables, experience with product management, sales, operations, customer service, etc.

  • Strong knowledge of the large corporate and commercial banking client base

  • Strong global perspective and global executive skills with extensive experience working with clients and business partners located outside the United States.

  • Industry expert, ideally published, frequently quoted industry-recognized leader

  • Solid risk management understanding, ideally with direct risk-management experience

  • Significant experience managing a large scale and complex business across multiple global locations

  • Must be a dynamic leader, should possess a mentor-coach management style and have proven experience developing and motivating a team of executives

  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and communicate the strategic vision

  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners to achieve objectives.  Key partners include sales, technology, service, operations, risk management, GCB, Commercial Bank and Investment Bank.

  • Ability to maintain close working relationship with sales, customer service and product delivery managers to ensure customer satisfaction and product profitability

  • Ability to think outside of the box with the vision, energy and practical execution skills to define the business strategy and deliver accordingly 

  • Change agent with the ability to swiftly and effectively execute

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects/work streams simultaneously

  • Laser focus in understanding and articulating customer needs and turning needs into business cases

  • Ability to develop product strategy and go-to-market programs to support solution launches, defining and developing new solutions offerings

  • Demonstrated strong industry leadership in client experience, product expertise, development of appropriate solutions/bundles, and ability to identify and take advantage of trends and opportunities

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment

  • Graduate degree (or similar experience) preferred
