Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) is a global team that plays a critical role in introducing new clients to the CIB as well as ensuring full due diligence is done with respect to new and existing relationships. The team functions in close partnership with Sales, Operations, Credit, Legal and Compliance to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding to the JP Morgan infrastructure.
The objective is to implement a standardized and consistent client onboarding service across the wholesale bank in order to deliver world class client experience and comply with our regulatory obligations. Know Your Customer (KYC) Strategic Execution is a program to simplify the operating model, provide greater transparency into the productivity of the function, deploy the latest technologies to simplify, scale and automate the KYC process.
This role of Change Project Manager is within the Change Readiness function to improve the current change management process. Ensure all change is managed in an efficient and effective manner across all of WCOB and in partnership with Commercial Bank.
Work with the Change Readiness Lead to ensure improved governance is put in place for the WCOB Change Control Board with representation from across all stakeholder groups which include: Technology; Operations; Quality Control; Compliance; Policy; Front Office Management; Procedures & Training; Business Support and Commercial Bank
Manage the WCOB Change Control Board
Ensure all change is managed and tracked from initiation to completion
Integrate with the strategic programs to ensure effective delivery on time
Manage and report on progress, issues and risks and escalate to management when appropriate
At least 7 - 10 years’ experience across financial services, technology and project management
Proven track record: must have led large-scale technology and process re-engineering projects successfully
Passion for the agenda: strong desire to make a quick impact to the organization through a successful project
Leadership and drive: well-honed ability to develop, to obtain agreement on, and to lead execution of a global agenda
Partnership and relationship management: must have ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with numerous teams and key stakeholders
Project management and execution: must organize quickly and execute the agenda to meet short-term and longer-term deliverables
Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Ability to present concise, direct and timely communications to executives, management and key partners. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, i.e., excel, word, visio, project, etc.
Software Development methodologies (Agile, RUP, RAD)
Have an open attitude towards sharing ideas and knowledge
A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentation and production of documentation appropriate to an audience
