The Asia Equities client connectivity team is part of a global organization which operates from London, New York, Houston, Singapore, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. They are responsible for providing a global electronic trading service to JPMorgan’s clients using the Financial Information Exchange protocol (FIX). Asset classes cover primarily Equities, Futures and Options, and services cover single stock, Program Trading, Allocations, IOIs, Algorithmic trading and Direct Market access.
You will be a member of the Asia FIX Onboarding team working within a global group and will be responsible for the onboarding, certification and enhancement work from start to finish for FIX clients accessing the JPM product suite. On a daily basis you will be working extremely closely with both the front office and other technology teams to gather and analyse client and business requirements, and then drive the conception and implementation of creative and robust solutions in a high productivity environment. You will also be participating in and managing larger scale project work and also providing second line support.
The successful candidate will appreciate the pivotal role that the onboarding team has in the success of the electronic business. They will be a productive self-starter capable not only of implementing requested changes quickly and accurately, but also capable of influencing the nature of those changes using their own knowledge and insight.

Required Skills
  • Experience of FIX client onboarding or support
  • Experience of working with vendor systems and connectivity hubs.
  • Experience in a client facing role.
  • Clear communicator able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong familiarity with Unix and basic shell scripting.
  • Experience of programming in Java.
  • Bilingual Japanese and English skills. Must be comfortable in both languages speaking, reading and writing at an advanced business level.
