Department Description:

Within AWM Treasury function, the Capital Stress Testing team is responsible for producing AWM’s capital stress test results, including CCAR, DFAST, ICAAP, Resolution, Recovery and Risk Appetite. Additionally, the team has a role in multiyear planning exercises including Goodwill.


Roles and Responsibilities:     

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing and integrating financial models used by AWM into all aspects of planning, reporting and analysis. The financial models are used for planning, forecasting and ad hoc analyses including multiyear financial plans, capital stress testing (CCAR/ICAAP/DFAST/Risk Appetite) and capital planning. The model output is used at the most senior levels in the organization, including AWM CFO, AWM CRO and AWM Risk Committee, so attention to detail, quality and timeliness of output is critical. 

Analyzing and reporting the results of the financial models requires a candidate that is both well versed in the details and is capable of having a business perspective.  The successful candidate will have a good opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of the Asset Management business and organization as well as develop a strong network across the AWM and the firm.  Additionally, the candidate will gain knowledge of bank capital and the regulatory stress testing framework in which our businesses operate.

  • Experience with building financial models; excellent Excel skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Good analytical skills and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving deliverables
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong work ethic
  • Strong finance/accounting skills
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Experience in treasury, capital planning or financial modeling is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AWM businesses is a plus
