This is an Associate/VP position serving as a Low Latency Trading Strategy Developer focusing on defining and developing low latency trading strategies.
The ideal candidate will work closely with traders in both creating then developing the low latency trading strategies in a trading floor environment. The qualified individual will be responsible for the design, and develop the low latency trading strategies. The successful candidate will be a partner to the business helping to drive the desk’s strategic agenda.
  • Design, and develop low latency trading strategies / platform for equity products
  • Work closely with traders to design and develop various low latency trading strategies
  • Pro-actively contribute to the design and improvement of trading strategies
  • Work independently to provide total trading solution for traders
  • Provide high quality and reliable first line trading strategies supports for traders
  • Work under pressure in a high demanding trading floor environment
  • Understand firm's approach and policies for control and governance related to electronic trading
  • 3-8 years related business experience, preferably including 2-5 years of experience in relevant low latency strategies development
  • 3-5 years solid C++ development experience
  • Track record in developing successful low latency trading strategies for Front Office and providing high quality / reliable first line trading strategies supports for traders
  • Japanese language skills would be an advantage
