Project Lead (VP) – Delaware - Technology Data Management
A technically strong Project Leader with great interpersonal skills and a deep background in Technology Delivery processes is needed by us. The role requires a can-do approach to problem solving and an ability to co-ordinate and influence change in Firm-wide Technology functions.
This is a high impact role with strong cross-functional profile.  The Technology Data Management Uplift Program has a mandate to improve the “Business of IT” that is the $9 billion Technology organization that supports JP Morgan Chase; by strengthening governance and quality of the data that is critical to managing our technology assets and operations.
This person will be responsible for implementing changes with many benefits across our Technology Functions, principally focussed on improving the underlying information supporting key processes. This could be either by implementing new approaches that will deliver ‘core’ data to underpin process and function improvements or by improving the quality and connectivity of data – breaking-down silos that block the flow of information necessary to achieve improvements.
The initial engagement is to manage the roll-out of more detailed description of software applications that will allow the parts (such as micro-services, mobile apps, data-stores etc.) to be accurately described and leveraged to improve the efficiency and accuracy of many Technology process such as software development, cloud migrations, continuous Integration, vulnerability management and so on.


Basic Qualifications
  • Very strong Project Leadership and Change Management experience and mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, and experienced in presenting to senior audiences that include technical and non-technical members
  • Strong written and verbal communications with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using technology and/or integrating diverse user systems.
  • Expert-level analytical skills, demonstrates a deep understanding of architecture & design concepts and processes
  • Experience with application software delivery lifecycle and implementation/operation
  • Practitioner experience in one or more architecture disciplines with preference towards application, business or information architecture
  • Expert in the area of requirements development.
  • Logical Modeling experience practice and competence.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle, software development methodologies and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence decision making in a federated, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Skilled at bringing about clarity in a complex environment and/ or ambiguous situations
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT Experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with robust, operationally sound production environments is preferred.
  • Use of technical design documentation methodologies and technologies (User Stories, UML, Object-Modeling, etc.). 
  • Certified in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
  • Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as Erwin, Magic Draw etc.
  • Experience or familiarity with a variety of data management technologies including relational databases, triple stores, analytical data environments, NoSQL databases etc.
  • Experience with wide variety of data platforms including No SQL, Triplestore / RDF and Hadoop solutions is preferred
  • Experience with large scale development projects, Internet development experience, large integration projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and learn new technologies and products is preferred.
  • Experience in one or more JPMC lines of business or functional area, ideally with prior participation in firm-wide initiatives
