Job Description:

The Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Tax Program Management Office drives the rollout of Tax Regulatory Programs across CIB Markets, Investor Services and Banking/Treasury Services.  The group partners with Project Managers, Operations, Business and Technology to drive programs related to regulatory change.  The Program Lead is responsible for execution of large scale programs with cross functional teams to deliver on key milestones.  The role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Manage the project lifecycle, governance, communication and delivery associated with large scale regulatory programs.  These programs have business and client impact.
  • Become familiar with key tax regulatory requirements and their impact on global CIB teams.
  • Manage communication of status updates and regulatory changes to stakeholders and senior managers through presentations and reports used in different forums.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Markets, Investor Services and Banking, providing guidance and analysis, and helping to identify, escalate and resolve issues/risks/actions/dependencies.
  • Leverage a commercial mindset to deliver efficiently and consistently across groups.
  • Innovate solutions that improve the client experience.
  • Provide input into the annual plan process ensuring relevant placeholders are accounted for in Technology and Operations budgets.
  • Provide leadership across multiple teams and within the CIB Tax PMO for resources involved in delivery of programs.
  • 5+ years of Program Management experience
  • Leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Proven organization and planning skills
  • Communication and partnership capabilities
  • Design and implementation of technology changes a plus
  • Tax regulatory knowledge a plus
  • Self-driven work ethic with prioritization capability
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Technical Skills – must have intermediate Microsoft Office skills
