Position Summary
Candidates must perform Funding of Nostro Accounts, monitor balance, and reconcile the daily statements with Predictions & Ledgers within a deadline driven environment
 
Key responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and over-see day-to-day activities of a team
  • Manage, coach and develop staff
  • Conduct staff evaluations and merit recommendations
  • Ensure a smooth workflow, review difficult cases, and expedite urgent transactions
  • Monitor quantity and quality of work to meet established objectives
  • Review and recommend new methods and procedures for process improvement and efficiency
  • Research and resolve operational issues
  • Maintain a high level of interaction with peers in other global locations
  • Assist with long termed strategic business planning

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Strong written and oral comprehension of English language
  • Experience in managing  a Banking Operations Team
  • Strong working knowledge of Nostro Funding Process
  • Computer navigation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Ability to analyze  complex procedures and established processes for process improvement
  • Ability to make independent decisions and utilize all available tools to minimize corporate and client risk
  • College degree and five or more years of banking experience in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of Liquidity Management would be an advantage

Education/Training/Background Required

University degree and five or more years of experience in Banking/Finance operations
