As a member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating and managing sever decommissions as requested by clients, ensuring that SLAs and quality of standards are met. In this role you’ll call on your experience designing tailored solutions to understand the requirements of a project, test the performance of the infrastructure, and verify that the requirements have been successfully met. As a team, you and your peers will be responsible for driving results, collecting and analyzing monitoring data in test and production, and managing projects to completion. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
• Intermediate understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design.
• Knowledge of more than one specific infrastructure technology.
• Handling escalations by collecting and analyzing data to support the root cause analysis.
• Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement
8+ years of experience delivering data center infrastructure products and services (server, storage, and networking).
Experience and exposure of working in an AGILE environment.
Knowledge of Dev-Ops environments and desire to operate in a firm that is transforming to a Dev-Ops environment.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing and coordinating projects and technical resources.
Intermediate experience with multiple operating systems including Redhat Linux, Microsoft Windows, and VMware ESX
Intermediate experience with VMware Virtual Center and VM administration
Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program management, network management)
Knowledge of automation skills like Python, scripting languages.
Understanding of a production environment
