Position Description
 
A Specialty Assets Middle Office Associate in J.P. Morgan’s Global Trust Support Services (GTSS) is integral to servicing endowments and foundations and closely held asset management.  General responsibilities include providing service support to practice teams and clients on various requests and other activities.  A successful candidate will:
 
  • Provide day to day overall product/service support to endowments and foundations clients and closely held assets management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, practice teams, and internal support teams to provide a best in class experience for all parties.
  • Provide overall product/service support for specialty assets on/off boarding, cash movement, trade execution, account maintenance, reporting, etc.
  • Ensure SLA deliverables are met by various teams.
  • Work with client service teams to ensure technical aspects of client activities are executed timely and accurately.

A successful candidate must communicate with credibility and confidence, be risk focused, show professional concern for quality and detail of work, and have a strong commitment to successfully meeting deadlines and responsibilities. The individual will need to be proactive and action-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proven ability for problem solving. Qualifications include:

 

·         An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience (fund accounting, investment specialist, client service).

·         Strong time management, critical thinking, and risk management skills.

·         Ability to take ownership and be accountable.

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, simultaneously.

·         Aptitude for analyzing issues and information accurately and demonstrating effective issue resolution and decision-making skills (fact based decisions).

·         Flexible with a “can do” approach.

·         Ability to work effectively with all lines of management.
