Public Sector Product Support and Strategy
  • Partner with Operations, Technology and Financial Controllers to manage the Financial Agent reporting obligations. Including:
    • Prepare the USCIS quarterly customer forecast billing financial documents and annual customer plan financial documents.
    • Develop 3 year budget documents provided to Fiscal Service for USCIS and IRS lockboxes
      • FY2019 and 3 year volume/financial forecast
      • 3 year strategic plan
    • Prepare monthly invoice for customer USCIS under a cost ++ and IRS under a modified PxV invoice models.
    • Prepare invoice supplemental reports after invoice is issued that breaks down the invoice between BAU, TPS, DACA and ELIS as well as technology costs broken down by tech projects (CRs).
    • Prepare schedules of monthly variance reports comparing customer forecast amounts to actual invoice amounts and including written variance commentary for each invoice line item.  Facilitate monthly invoice review meeting with customer
  • Administrative support of USCIS product backlog.  Receipt, estimation, and expense reporting for USCIS change requests
  • Prepare JPMC revenue plan totals for Public Sector Lockbox products.
  • Prepare monthly product level P&Ls and Monthly Public Sector business review material
  • Calculate the monthly revenue forecast for the Public Sector for use in monthly R&O and accrual submissions.
  • Attend/participate in weekly PS Leadership and business review meetings.  Respond to any questions related to the financial side of the product.
  • Attend/participate in PS Business Review meeting.  Prepare the financial information section of the presentation.  Present the financial result information and respond to questions, as required.
  • Ad Hoc request by PSLBX product management, US Government and states for additional information in support of products.
  • Provide analysis for monthly profitability reporting and financial risks and opportunity submissions.  Analyse volume / revenue trends and provide recommended actions to respond to changes in profitability
  • Provide support for RFPs, pricing strategy / modelling, and business cases
  • Assist in on-going Public Sector Lockbox projects, e.g. platform strategy, profitability analysis by customer / site
  • Minimum 5 years of Treasury Services cash management experience and knowledge of products in the U.S. (payment/receivables)
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience managing successful relationships, marketing or servicing Public Sector clients, particularly at the federal level (strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, attentive to details and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts, make recommendations to improve efficiencies
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to lead/facilitate meetings
  • Ability to work constructively and professionally with all partners and management levels of the firm
  • BA/BS in Accounting or a related discipline; CPA / MBA preferred.
  • Ability to analyse product financial data and develop positive profit and loss performance
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, attentive to details and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Combination of strong analytical skills and creative problem solving - able to turn analysis into actionable insights and plans
Experience with the following Skills Preferred
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint (must be very strong in Excel)
