The tax analyst roles and responsibilities will include exposure to tax accounting and compliance assignments. From a tax accounting perspective, the analyst will become knowledgeable of the components and calculations of the effective tax rate and deferred taxes pursuant to ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109). The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant tax accounting and compliance experience. Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred. It is important that the person is a self starter who also possesses excellent communication, organizational and attention to details skills. The ability to effectively use various programs such as Microsoft Office, Access, and SAP is a plus. Knowledge of Onesource RS tax compliance software is a plus and preferred. Education should include an accounting degree. An MBA with emphasis in tax, or an MST and/ or a CPA license is a plus.
