Global Security and Investigations (GS&I) provides protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of the firm, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, security operations globally, and fraud Investigations.
 
Global Finance &Business Management is seeking a Vice President for a Project Manager role based in Jersey City, New Jersey .
 
This Project Manager position will be responsible for driving the execution of strategic initiatives for Global Security and Investigations.  The candidate must be a highly-motivated individual and must be able to handle a high level of complexity within their span of control, be able to deal with and work through ambiguity, be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with and leading in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment
 
Scope:
  • Work with business leadership to define, prioritize and achieve strategic objectives and, ensuring projects delivered meet the approved business requirements
  • Responsible for end-to-end Project Delivery and Execution (scope through implementation and close out) of the key programs and projects to enhance business strategy, efficiency and governance, optimization efforts
  • Maintain and manage program-wide documentation; project plans, scorecards, risks and issues logs, action items, dependency management across programs, lessons learned, benefits realization and prepare materials for weekly program management meetings
  • Ability to identify business process gaps and drive improved business operating models
  • Experience utilizing software development life cycle methodologies, in particular agile

 

  • 8-10 years’ experience as a project manager managing large projects or multiple small projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, data management and problem solving skills
  • Experience in management of critical path, issues, risks and dependencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate leadership and appropriate decision making competencies
  • Ability to quickly understand complex subject matter
  • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with all levels
  • Ability to create effective presentations and messaging to Senior Mgmt. using PowerPoint
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Professional project management certification required (e.g., PMI, APMP)
