This position will be part of JPMorgan's Global Anti-Corruption compliance team, which is responsible for oversight of the firm's anti-corruption program, including program governance, policy development, training, quality assurance, monitoring, exam coordination and policy enforcement. 
 
The successful candidate is a quick learner with ability to drive multiple projects to completion and to handle competing deadlines. This position requires strong organization skills, attention to details, and strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will be expected to interact with Anti-Corruption Compliance staff globally, management in all lines of business, and other internal groups including Legal, Audit, Technology etc. The candidate must be able to exercise sound judgment, function independently, and observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of information received in the course of discharging responsibilities.
 
Primary duties include, but are not limited to, advising Anti-Corruption Compliance Officers and business relationship managers on mitigating corruption-related risk connected to third party intermediaries; monitoring and tracking the identification and pre-clearance of third party intermediaries according to Anti-Corruption Policy requirements; managing and driving specific projects related to third party intermediary corruption risk management; analyzing data; production of metrics reports for senior compliance and business management; and addressing technology- related issues with Technology team.  

 

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in a compliance, risk or comparable role (experience in anti-corruption compliance is preferred but not required)
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem solving skills, and ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to formulate and execute project plans, handle and meet competing deadlines, organize and prioritize work, and follow-up on projects until completion
  • Strong attention to detail and quick learning abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member and with minimum supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with other groups including senior management
