Escrow Services is a business unit within the Treasury Services division of J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). Escrow holds institutional client assets in safekeeping and delivers those assets once certain pre-agreed conditions have been fulfilled. Escrow is used to mitigate risk in institutional transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, bond issuances, and litigation settlements.

About the role:
This position, based in New York will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of Escrow client relationships. The Escrow Client Manager will have full accountability for all facets of account administration.

New Escrow Account Activities:
• Understand the business purpose and deal structure for new escrow transactions
• Ensure Escrow deal information is set up on all operating systems and contractual obligations denoted
• Understand all duties to be performed by JPMorgan under each Escrow agreement

Ongoing Administration and Client Service:
• Provide strong customer service by responding quickly to client requests, offering solutions to client needs, and developing meaningful client relationships
• Administration and risk aspects of Escrow account portfolio are handled flawlessly
• Fee billing invoices are created promptly and collected • Ensure action is taken in response to all ticklers by designated due dates
• Overdrafts, write-offs, uninvested cash, operating losses and business risk is avoided
• All account activities are in compliance with relevant governing documents and JPMorgan policies and procedures

Team Role:
• Assist teammates in daily operations and provide back-up support during absences
• Develop strong working relationships with JPMorgan Operations support unit
• Escalate client issues to Team Leader, Risk Management, Tax and Legal, as appropriate
• Partner with Sales Executives in seeking new business opportunities
• Participate in special projects as necessary

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-6 year's work experience in financial services, preferably in Escrow
• Experience in legal contract negotiation helpful, preferably escrow contracts
• Demonstrated sales and strong customer service orientation
• Highly motivated
• Team Player
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in independent decision making
• Compliance and regulatory experience helpful
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent PC Skills including Word, Excel
