Chase Wealth Management encompasses our Chase Private Client (CPC) and Chase Investment Services businesses. We acknowledge who our customers are and what they want out of life. Job Description:

The Market Director in Chase Wealth Management will drive a world-class customer experience, strategize to drive the growth of the wealth and investment business and develop financial advisors. The Market Director also creates a culture of excellence and an environment that meets a high standard of customer service and excellence within the community by building deep relationships.



As a Market Director, you will leverage your leadership and communication skills to:


Manage the market to ensure an excellent customer experience

o Ensure financial advisors have a passion for our customers which results in all of our employees meeting and exceeding our customer expectations and creating a customer obsessed culture.

o Ensure that all financial advisors are following policies and procedures to stay in compliance with internal and external regulations

o Conduct detailed business reviews to deep dive into the results of all financial advisors

o Deploy resources to optimize market performance

o Deliver on high performance standards and protect our customers and the through adherence to policy, satisfactory audits and consistent execution of KYC and KYP


Coach and develop financial advisors to best serve customers

o Recruit, retain, and develop excellent talent to be customer-obsessed

o Ensure talent and performance strategies are in place to coach, develop and promote advisors

o Encourage integration and cooperation between bankers and advisors

o Coach financial advisors on best practice techniques for developing product recommendations, cultivating relationships, and serving clients

o Instill an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and able to achieve career growth

o Address any escalated client issues promptly and effectively


Drive growth in the business

o Develop strategy to ensure the growth of each financial advisor’s book of business

o Partner with other market leaders (e.g., Market Director –Banking) to ensure the growth of other lines of business, including deposits and loans

o Work with financial advisors to utilize technology to best meet customer needs

o Drive integration with partners from Branch Management, Business Banking and Home Lending to provide customers with access to solutions, strategies and expertise to meet all of their financial needs.

o Work with financial advisors to develop and implement customized action plans

o Ensure the success of the market


Desired Skills:

• Pursues and creates a customer centric organization

• 5+ years of Advisor management experience required, coupled with a proven track record of developing and coaching high performing Advisor teams

• Demonstrates ability to build relationships and proactively collaborate with all other areas of Consumer and Community Banking

• Ability to create a climate in which people want to do their best

• Able to motivate and empower others

• Able to identify needs of market segment

• Ability to translate knowledge of financial markets and economic trends for execution of growth strategy

• Strong commitment to upholding a sound risk and controls environment

• FINRA Series 7, 9/10 (or equivalent) and 66 (or equivalent) required in addition to meeting FINRA continuing education requirements

• BA/BS degree required
