WHEM Investigations - Transaction Processing Specialist

 

  1. Ensure investigations and transactions are processed in accordance with documented procedures in QMS.
  2. Undertakes various functions within the team/unit; ensures all relevant deadlines and stipulated controls are met. Ensure that currency cut offs are met and urgent clients/cases are prioritized.
  3. Ensure that high value transactions are stratified according to the guidelines. 
  4. Perform routine inquiries and research.
  5. Process complex non-routine transactions, performing investigations and repairs.
  6. Analyze information to determine accuracy and completeness of data.
  7. Ensure risk and escalation procedures are adhered to at all times.
  8. Identify opportunities for improving process flow and quality as seen by clients and other interfacing units.
  9. Participate in the rotation of functions within the group ensuring no degradation of work flows.
  10. Assist in the training/education of other members in job functions/procedures relating to the unit.
  11. Process any required back-up tasks relating to production, identifying ways to improve current work practices.
  12. Undertakes a decision making role which requires sound working knowledge of the bank’s operating risk policy and controls environment.
  13. To be instrumental in identifying system faults/enhancements and be involved in any system implementations from a user viewpoint. May assists on project as a member of a wider project team, providing added value as required.
  14. Know the team’s Business Continuity Plan.
  15. Customer focused, delivers consistently high level of service.

Qualifications:
 
  1. Keen understanding of cut - offs, involved risks and ability to prioritize and redistribute the work loads within the team.
  2. Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels.
  3. Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
