The CIB Infrastructure Services group are responsible for optimizing infrastructure delivery, quality and consumption across CIB, as well as program managing global data center migrations. Strong partnership and alignment with our Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) partners are central to this function. Working closely with Line of Business Aligned Infrastructure Managers, the Infrastructure Services group aims to drive GTI service improvement through clear alignment, governance and strong execution.



Within CIB Infrastructure Services the Delivery Optimization function provides analysis and project delivery to execute a series of transformational work streams to significantly improve the lifecycle and time to deliver infrastructure to the business.


As an Infrastructure Process Analyst you will be responsible for conducting analysis of current procedures and process to identify areas for improvements. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to determine priorities and establish with GTI tasks and milestones to drive incremental change to deliver business value quickly and often. You will be responsible for the preparation of requirement documents and other initiative / project material, where required, in addition to providing governance in managing and influencing working groups and execution teams.


This role will best suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind who is motivated to make change for the better.

  • Prior experience in technology process improvement/optimization and delivering operational change programmes
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure essential, specifically data centres, networks, storage and server technologies
  • Understanding of Lean / Six Sigma principles
  • Practical experience of IT Governance frameworks i.e. COBIT, ITIL
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, control, governance and planning skills
  • Experience of building credible relationships, influencing management and leadership teams
  • Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
