Global Business & Document Services (GBDS) is JPMorgan Chase's print and distribution department, operating across NAMR, EMEA, APAC and LATAM in more than 50 cities. GBDS is responsible for managing vital employee services, including print & copy, messenger, courier, fulfillment, SmartPrint program, SmartTrack and High Value Media Group (HVMG) that provides end-to-end capabilities, allowing to design, personalize, print, assemble and deliver products the same-day.
 
GBDS also offers document solutions, such as statement printing, client communication and regulatory mailings.
 
GBDS seeks Receipt & Mail Specialist who will work as part of a team focused on the various disciplines that support the multiple lines of businesses. The role will report to Operations Supervisor and ensure smooth functioning of Mail & Distribution services as per the functions Standard Operating Procedures and other corporate policy. 
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Support implementation of operational objectives, programs, policies and initiatives, liaising and coordinating with Regional Mail Team and Location Manager to ensure successful roll out
  • Responding to all mail/courier related enquiries via calls or emails
  • Sorting, collection, processing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing mail and courier items
  • Use of PacTrac application, if available in location
  • Deliver and pick-up incoming and outgoing mail shipments to and from respective department’s mail coops on the production floors
  • Support regional distribution project for the location
  • Processing of outgoing local, domestic and international couriers through contracted vendors
  • Ensure outgoing shipments meet the packaging standards
  • Coordinate with third party courier and mail service providers
  • Franking of outgoing postal mails
  • Coordinate with DHL for incoming official parcels requiring custom clearance
  • Office supply distribution, i.e. office paper, envelope
  • Maintain service log for all mail related activities
  • Business information reporting
  • Production of usage statistics and cost allocation supporting for invoice settlement
  • Relationship management skills demonstrating a diplomatic and open approach to clients
  • Ability to multitasking and lead assigned task
  • Back up for other GBDS services

  • Good presentation and communication skills in both written and oral
  • Previous experience in mail and messenger operations
  • Computer literate. Intermediate users of the following programs:
    • Microsoft Outlook (emailing, filing, meeting requests)
    • Microsoft Word (basic editing and formatting)
    • Microsoft Excel (ability to enter and analyze the trend)
  • Self starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
