In this role, you will be a key contributor in a wide variety of business initiatives to develop best-in-class risk capabilities.  You will conduct risk-based analytical work to drive profitable decisions and support risk strategies.  You will partner with cross-functional teams to collect and organize data and information, perform research and analysis, and present recommendations that influence decision makers and identify solutions.  You will help liaise between business users and data/IT team to support report requirements development, validate report accuracy and ensure delivery requirements and timelines are met. In this role, you will gain knowledge of risk management, controls and infrastructure, as well as develop a solid understand of risk analysis and how it evolves and impacts the business.
  • Master’s degree in relevant technical or quantitative fields (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Business, Physics, Statistics, Operations Research and Economics)
  • Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, business and technical
  • Understanding of business process mapping and reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
  • Ability to structure analyses to solve business questions and problems
  • PC/technical skills including interest in learning query languages (SAS, SQL, and/or other Oracle and/or Teradata database tools) preferred; knowledge of MS Office related products such as PowerPoint, Excel required
