As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

       Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

       Understanding of architecture and design across all systems 

       Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

       Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

       Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages, Core Java, Python, & SQL Programming

       Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement


As the Level 3 Application Support team member you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of International Liquidity

  • This individual performs advanced troubleshooting at the application level, identifying the area of fault (code, environment, or configuration) and guide the appropriate team in constructing and implementing the fix or workaround. The specialist is individually responsible for delivering technical diagnosis and solution prescription
  • Above 10 years of extensive knowledge and experience in development and/or application based troubleshooting with good understanding on infrastructure applications such as Unix/Linux, WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, MQ, NDM, SFTP.
  • Demonstrated experience in application support with industry knowledge of ITIL service management principles.
  • Extensive technical understanding that spans multiple platforms and application level expertise of a portfolio of applications with broad knowledge of the business strategic priorities, in order to resolve complex problems.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure readiness, health, availability, connectivity with other interfaced platforms.
  • Validate and Test the Configurable Items within the environment including cross impacted & baseline configurations
  • Operations level oversight and sustain/control the environment to meet testing requirements
  • Coordinate and guide AD teams to define, document and baseline the configurable items
  • Act as interface / bridge / champion between various IT support teams to leverage service benefits
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management methodologies and ability to automate Configuration Management process
  • Day to day oversight to ensure adherence of Change Management processes, policies, and procedures
  • Support ITSM, EURC, RSAM, ITPAM initiation and ensure appropriate communication and approvals are received within agreed timeframes
  • Drive efficiency improvement initiatives, DNS remediation, Trouble shooting, System Patching, Access permission, SSL certificate, ssh, scp etc.
  • Document comprehensive impact and change collision assessments to facilitate the approval process
  • Basic understanding of configurable items of database (oracle)
  • Good knowledge preferred in Linux servers, storage devices, performance monitoring, server and database maintenance
  • Knowledge of Jython, SVN, Git would be a Plus.
  • Domain Skills - added advantage if hands on experience on Liquidity Management – Sweeps , Notional Pooling , Inter Company and Deposits . This function requires broad knowledge of the business functions to resolve critical and strategic business technology challenges.
