Business Overview & Role Description:
The Custody Cash & Liquidity Product Development role has responsibility for delivering changes based on regulatory, client and prioritized initiatives that have been funded through the annual investment planning. This role requires effective partnership across Operations, Technology and Product teams within Custody and Fund Services as well as integration with those same teams within Banking Operations.  The role requires an understanding of the cash and liquidity business in the context of C&FS with knowledge of the risk and operational processes required to support the product and the associated technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Working through change management life-cycle to see through system and product changes related to Investment Initiatives and BAU Client Change requests
  • Ensure effective controls across the required processes in support of each and every change
  • Partnering with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, Product, Operations, Technology, Testing, Risk, Compliance and Legal in order to ensure changes are appropriately assessed against the appropriate functions
  • Participating in ad-hoc high impact initiatives and projects as and when required 
Qualifications - Required skills and background:
The successful candidate will have a background of Securities, Cash Operations and / or Liquidity environment with the following skills:
  • Influencing and negotiation skills across a globally distributed model to support the product strategy
  • Team player with the ability to  lead and motivate people across the firm
  • Results orientated: Drive results through people, communication, influence management and interactions.
  • Strong Analytical/ Quantitative skills, using core programs such as Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Strong change management skills, from performing impact analysis through to driving change programs to completion
  • Communication: Confident communicator across varied audiences combined with the ability to interact with senior partners
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional, multi-location model
  • Ability to maintain close working relationship with Product, Operations, Technology and Client Service and product delivery managers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ability to think creatively with the vision, energy and practical execution skills to help define the business strategy and deliver accordingly
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects/work streams simultaneously
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
