Key Responsibilities 
  • Grow relationships with existing customers and create new ones.
  • Independent thinker; ability to generate and commercialise new ideas across all asset classes with a larger focus on Foreign Exchange.
  • Help grow our broad Sub-Saharan African franchise, consistently focusing on cross-sell opportunities
  • Maintain SSA client relationships and provide execution pricing and hedging ideas
  • Manage internal queries at the back of client activity to ensure smooth end to end experience for client and team
  • Help research and trading with client feedback and ideas
  • Provide back-up client coverage to help team members

Experience 

  • Relevant experience as an FX sales specialist, structurer, trader.
  • Track record in managing client relations (corporates, asset managers, banks and hedge funds).
  • FX Sales or Solid cross market technical skills in cash and derivatives products (fixed income, credit, FX, commodities, plus equity derivatives).
  • Experience in structured derivatives a plus.

Educational/Qualifications 

  • Degree (B Comm, BSc, BEconSc, etc). in quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, finance, economics.
  • Completed Registered Persons Exams and FAIS qualifications a plus
