Our Global Service Centers (GSCs) are strategically positioned in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad to support the firm’s operations regionally and globally. The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.

 

 

The Global Finance India – Application Development Team is expanding to include an Analyst (502) to handle Application Development projects. Analyst will be responsible to work with respective businesses, understand their issues/automation requests and develop a sustainable solution. The GFI – Application Development Team is a part of the GFI Business Management group and is responsible for creating various automation tools/UTs as per business requirements.

 

Primary Responsibilities include

 

§  Act as central co-ordination point for various UT/automation requests raised by business

§  Create/develop sustainable solutions

§  Create detailed project plans and hold regular touch-point calls/meetings with business per the timelines mentioned therein

§  Provide periodic updates to senior management and seek timely interventions

§  End to End project responsibility and ownership

§  Partner and collaborate with other team members for idea generation, problem-solving, internal process improvements and other ongoing initiatives

 

Qualifications

 

Experience and the required Skill sets:

 

§  BE (Computer Science)/BE (IT)/MSC(Computer Science)/MSC(IT)/MCA

§  BSC(Computer Science)/BSC(IT) may also be considered

§  7-8 years relevant exposure

§  Ability to work with various cross-functional and cross -location teams

§  Project management & prioritization skills - ability to work through change

§  MS Excel and advanced MS Excel Macros (MS Office 2010 onwards)

§  MS Access Database (MS Office 2010 onwards)

§  VBA Programming (Expert Level – for Both MS Excel 2010 And MS Access 2010)

§  Power Point Automation via Excel VBA and Access VBA

§  Intermediate Level knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) queries

§  Strong communication and writing skills

§  Strong project management skills

§  Basic knowledge of Agile methodology (preferred)

§  Exposure to .NET framework and development (preferred)

§  Exposure to SharePoint would be an advantage
