Department Description
The JPMorgan Chase Audit Department is accountable to the Audit and Examining Committee of the Board of Directors, the Office of the Chairman, senior management and our global and local regulators.  The global Audit Department has in excess of 1,000 Audit Officers.  
Within the Audit Department, the EMEA Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Audit team is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environment across the AWM businesses in EMEA. This is achieved through a program of audit coverage performed and managed by a team of integrated business, technology and corporate sector specialists and coordinated on a global basis with colleagues in the US and Asia.

Position Description
The Private Bank Audit Manager (VP) position is based in Geneva and responsible for audit coverage of the EMEA Wealth Management business reporting directly to the team lead.
  • Lead and participate in audit projects from planning to reporting with supervision and deliver a quality product in line with department standards and expectations.
  • Identify risks, evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls; finalize audit findings and use judgment to provide an overall opinion on the control environment; and document audit results and communicate issues to management, identifying opportunities for improvement in the design and effectiveness of key controls.
  • Present to relevant Swiss Audit Committee and Risk & Control forums. Develop and manage strong relationships with local business leaders.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, establishing a culture of engagement while adding value.
  • Effectively manage audit engagement teams, performing timely review and providing honest and constructive feedback. Stay up to date with the global and regional regulatory and market environment, especially as it pertains to Global Wealth Management.
  • The position may require up to 10% travel.
  • Good knowledge of Asset Management/Wealth Management audit or business experience.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline).
  • Professional accountancy qualification and/or other professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIA, CISA) are a plus.
  • Detailed knowledge of products and services provided within Asset & Wealth Management business, including extensive knowledge and experience (including auditing) of fiduciary business activities.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and banking regulatory requirements in EMEA. Knowledge of Swiss regulations / FINMA circulars is a plus.  
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically.
  • Proven ability to be able to multi task and be able to change priorities.
  • Works well individually, and in teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation.
  • Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication.
  • Enthusiastic, self motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal risk and accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills particularly in regard to assessing the probability and impact of an internal control weakness.
