Global Compliance Practices plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firm's compliance mission.  The Compliance function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by developing and maintaining program infrastructure that identifies, measures and monitors compliance with applicable laws, regulations and rules that govern our business globally. Compliance   teams work closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters, assess and measure compliance and related risks, and monitor and test the adequacy of the firm's compliance control environment.
 
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of large scale initiatives within the (GCP) group. This includes managing activities related to program timeline and deliverables management, dependencies management, issue escalation, risk management and communications on progress to program teams and senior/executive management, phase end checkpoint coordination and reporting.
 
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Management of project scope, agreements, and project plan  
  • Provides overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines
  • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis by tracking the project budget, evaluate progress and quality of tasks and deliverables, manage issue resolution and risk mitigation as necessary
  • Management of involved teams from initiation through implementation
  • Establish recurring project status meetings for weekly status reviews , risk/issue reviews, and team status
  • Implement Communication and Risk Management Plans; Issues & Action Item tracking
  • Provides comprehensive status reporting of project progress, issues, risks and deliverables
  • Ensures quality of all project deliverables through active participation in deliverable reviews, checkpoints, tollgates and quality assessments/metrics during project phases


  • College degree, specializing in Business, Technology, Operations, Industry Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years project management experience in a business/Compliance environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross business programs with interdependencies.
  • Proven experience with program and project management methodologies; including project planning, issue management, risk management, resource tracking and management score-carding.
  • Ability to network with internal customer community to foster positive and proactive approach to resource prioritization and deployment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office skills, including Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, and Visio
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
