Managing Director, Relationship Executive Senior, Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries – Entertainment Industries Group

 

The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries business focuses on U.S.-based companies with revenues in excess of $500 million that require traditional banking services as well as investment banking products. To best address our clients’ needs, our business is organized primarily by geographic region with select nationwide industry-focused teams.

 

The Entertainment Industries Group is one of the specialized teams within CCBSI and is located in Los Angeles, CA.  The group focuses on companies engaged primarily in the entertainment media content and distribution industries; namely film, television, music, and exhibition.  The group’s business partners include Product Specialists from the Corporate & Investment Bank (Syndications, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, etc), as well as Coverage Partners from Treasury Services, Investment Management & International Banking. Clients are generally domiciled in Los Angeles with select national and international coverage.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, pursue and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services
  • Manage complex, multi-product client relationships
  • Coordinate the sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners
  • Proactively market clients and prospects and develop a network of referral sources
  • Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree with outstanding academic credentials
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in a Corporate or Investment banking support role or comparable experience
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking products and preferably execution experience Position will provide support around capital structure analysis concentrating on syndicated leveraged finance transactions, corporate finance advisory, interest rate and currency hedging, as well as traditional banking products
  • Knowledge of credit underwriting and structuring. Position will regularly collaborate with credit team on analysis, structuring and documentation of credit requests
  • Excellent problem solving, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills as position enables frequent and direct interaction with senior management of clients and prospects
  • The ability to be a highly motivated, productive team player. Partnership skills are essential as work will often overlap with industry partners, product partners and investment banking teams
  • Strong computer proficiency with knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word 
  • Series 24, 79 and 63 licensed (or must obtain)
  • MBA preferred
