Group description
 
The global Risk Reporting team is responsible for reporting risk exposures across market, credit, country, model and legal entity risk.  Risk reports are provided to the Board of Directors, Senior Management, Risk Managers and Regulators to facilitate a clear understanding and timely management of risk across the firm. The team also helps risk managers identify, measure, and manage their portfolio on different levels by focusing on trend analysis and different exposure methodologies
 
 
Job Description
 
Risk reporting organization is expanding in Mumbai. The role will be focused towards Market Risk and Legal Entity Risk Reporting for EMEA region.
 
This position is at the Associate level, with an emphasis on the production of comprehensive, timely, accurate and well-formatted reports. Additionally, the right candidate should be able to manage smooth migration of processes, training and development of team members, development of efficient reporting processes with associated controls, interaction with risk reporting teams and stakeholders in other regions as well as being involved in discrete projects.
 
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Accurate and timely delivery of risk reports to senior management, risk management and regulators
  • Training and migration of reporting processes from other EMEA regions
  • Implement robust quality assurance checks and controls through the reporting processes
  • Support in ad-hoc analysis of credit or market risk data
  • Interact with risk reporting, risk management, finance and technology teams in other regions
  • Perform independent review of the reports prior to distribution
  • Involvement in regional/global projects and people agenda working groups
  • Testing reports during change management


Qualifications

 
Skills/Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in financial services industry ( 7+ years )
  • Knowledge of market risk metrics and financial products is required
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Access and VBA
  • Proficiency using Bloomberg, Reuters and other market data tools is required
  • Ability to work and solve problems independently, and be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organization and processing skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to improve current processes and achieve efficiencies
  • Team player who can interact at ease with colleagues of various levels
  • Self-motivated, and comfortable working with large amounts of data
  • B.Com/BSC/BE degree required. MBA or Master’s degree in Finance preferred.
  • CFA or FRM certification is a plus
