Role overview
As a Liquidity Reporting Associate, you will be primarily responsible for the strategic on-boarding and consolidation of all EMEA regional liquidity reporting in the European hub based in London.  You will assist the CTMO team in preparing and submitting the new COREP returns put in place by the EBA. You will be focused on the LCR, NSFR and the new Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metrics (ALMM).You will be working closely with numerous other global teams across the bank such as EMEA Legal Entity Control teams. You will have the opportunity to build a strong understanding of all Liquidity Reporting regulations whilst also getting to learn our reported entities thoroughly through analytical work of balance sheet movements and reporting variances.
Team overview
EMEA CTMO is part of the wider Global Treasury function which is responsible for the Funding and Liquidity risk management of the organisation worldwide. The team has been in existence for over 6 years producing returns to local and regional Regulators covering several regulated legal entities in the UK, the largest with a balance sheet of 500 billion dollars.
The London team is set to expand its responsibilities throughout 2017 taking on the reporting from multiple locations throughout EMEA helping to establish it as a truly EMEA wide team based in Canary Wharf.
EMEA CTMO is part of the Global CTMO team who, combined, are responsible for maintaining a Global Liquidity Reporting platform 24 hours a day.
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and submission of key external regulatory reports (LCR, NSFR, AE & AMM) for J.P. Morgan EMEA regulated entities
  • Preparing and analysing ad hoc metrics and analysis in partnership with Liquidity Management, Liquidity Risk Oversight and Global LEC teams
  • Support LRI tech/business enhancements and assisting in technology related developments, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and end user testing
  • Maintaining strong business, operations and technology relationships across global teams
  • Maintain a deep understanding on all current and proposed liquidity regulations

Skill-set requirements

  • Attention to detail and numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Understanding of the nature and importance of Regulatory Reporting
  • Strong controls mindset with the curiosity to learn and challenge status quo
Experience / Education Required
  • Knowledge of EBA/PRA Liquidity Reporting regimes
  • Strong industry and operational knowledge
  • Experience of banking or financial services
  • Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements preferred
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
  • Accounting qualification preferred (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
