The Team

 

The regional team for content marketing aims to deliver the firm’s intellectual capital covering market, economy, retirement, investment strategies and product solutions, positioning J.P. Morgan Asset Management as the preeminent provider of insights to institutions, financial advisors and end investors.  The team will partner closely with Market and Retirement Strategists, different functions within Marketing, and Investment, Product and Global teams.

 

The Role

 

The Head of Content Marketing APAC will be responsible for production distribution and management of the firm’s intellectual capital including the Market, Portfolio and Retirement Insights programs through leverage and optimization of global and regional expertise. Content will be in different formats from printed materials, to video/infographics on digital channels to presentations for in-person meetings.  This role will be responsible for driving effectiveness of the content and its delivery where metrics shall be established to track impact of content activities across channels.  Content marketing strategy shall continue evolving that will help build lasting client relationships, gain access to prospective clients, increase client engagement and powerfully differentiate our brand from the competition.

Reporting to the regional CMO, this role will be part of the Regional Marketing Management team.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and implementation of content strategy to promote our thought leadership, investment capabilities and product solutions

  • Responsible for the management of our Market, Portfolio and Retirement Insights programs for APAC focused on building and expanding our content and reach, and to coordinate with the global team to tailor content for local use.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts and partners within the firm across the globe to deliver content that covers the global Insights programs, asset class positioning and product marketing collaterals

  • Responsible for production and distribution of content for different lines of business within the region; Content will be in different languages and formats from print to digital to materials for in-person meetings

  • Act as a lead for Insights programs for Asia Pacific to build and expand the insights brand, and to coordinate with the Global team to tailor content for local use

  • Lead, execute and oversee a wide range of projects that will include identifying areas for tactical improvement and strategic growth of the Insights program, the firm’s thought leadership and our investment and product capabilities

  • Conduct competitive content and usage analysis in consideration of inputs from Sales and key stakeholders, and synthesize findings into strategic recommendation

  • Establish measurement to improve client outreach, increase awareness, adoption and client engagement

  • Work with Marketing, Sales and key stakeholders to implement internal and external training initiatives

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or MBA  
  • At least 8 years’ experience in marketing covering content marketing strategy 
  • Excellent understanding of market/economy, mutual fund industry, investment strategies and products
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to drive meaningful insights from data and take constructive actions accordingly
  • Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across Lines of Businesses
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; Responsible and accountable; Respect for diversity of opinions and styles; Flexible in approach
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding, fast paced environment, and handle multiple, competing priorities and projects with quality output at one time
  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities based on unexpected business demands
  • Experience in managing a small to medium sized team
  • A proven team-based approach to partnering in a collaborative manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
