Job Description:
Responsible for developing and retaining business for assigned IM clients in Mexico (Distributors, Family Offices, Financial Institutions and Corporations, etc) covering new sales, existing revenue defense and growth and profitability enhancement. Responsible for managing relationship with clients and expectations to grow portfolio profitably through effective account management, account planning and implementation of product strategies.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Management of existing client portfolio, understanding client needs, applying consultative selling, developing internal client referrals and developing appropriate product solutions;
  • Client management with new business attainment is expected, creation of client pipeline;
  • Execute sales strategy in conjunction with Lines of Business (e.g. Investment Bank and Global Corporate Bank), as well as seeking for cross selling opportunities;
  • Collaborate with client service, product, operations, technology, risk, credit, legal and other areas to optimize product and service delivery;
  • Act as principal point of contact with the client for commercial and contractual issues;
  • Prepare correspondence and sales reports, and maintain active cold calling program;
  • Guarantee KYC and customer documentation following all the compliance policies in place.
Experience
  • Typically has 7-10 years sales/industry or related experience;
  • Thorough knowledge of Investment products (focus on Funds), market/industry and client base;
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills;
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Effective communicator, talks in a clear, concise and unambiguous manner;
  • Persistent commercial acumen;
  • Judgment to assess and manage business risks, primarily AML and reputational risk;
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources;
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
