POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Finance Manager (“BFM”) will be based in Los Angeles, with responsibility to broadly support the regional agenda and the markets.  This role will report directly to the USPB West Regional CFO with (dotted line accountability to the Regional and Market leadership).  The BFM will provide business management oversight including financial, information, and sales management. This role involves frequent interaction with management and front office advisors in a fast-paced team environment, as well as accountability for broader regional projects. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage financial planning and forecasting processes
  • Provide business information and analysis (e.g., financial reporting and commentary)
  • Monitor performance against plan
  • Conduct analyses to drive further insights and opportunities about business
  • Understand business drivers and recommend measures to further improve results
  • Enable management by providing timely, accurate information
  • Drive disciplined expense management
  • Research and resolve data issues
  • Assist with meeting management and agenda setting (e.g. regional leadership offsites, weekly meetings)
  • Provide disciplined project management on ad hoc projects
  • Partner with regional leadership and CFO to prepare for regular business reviews
     
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a preferred concentration in finance or accounting
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (including Excel formulas & pivot tables, Access tables, Powerpoint)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, strategic thinker
  • Client focused with a tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts
  • High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders
